In the 1920's porcelain fixtures found their place in American homes. The trend lasted until the 1950's when more metallic designs became in vogue. It's easy to see why the porcelain light fixture trend lasted so long, the fixtures are durable, almost completely immune to decay and ever so beautiful.

Measurements: The fixture measures 5 1/2 inches tall, 4 inches at its widest point and protrudes from the wall 7 3/4 inches. The fixture mounting surface measures 3 1/2 inches wide and 5 3/4 inches tall. Please double check the width of your junction box to ensure the fixture will cover it.

Condition: The fixture features new pull chain socket, custom mounting bracket, 1/8 ip threaded rod, wires, wire sheathing, nickel finial and nickel thumb screws. The fixture is in good condition and is showing its antiquity with inconsistencies, including minor flea bites on the glass shade, minor wear and minor discoloration on the porcelain finish. The plug receptacle has been bypassed and is no longer functional.

Electrical: The fixture uses a standard medium base socket. Use 60-watt bulb. The bulb is not included. Suitable for dry locations.
