This vintage 1950s semi-flush ceiling light is a classic postwar glass bowl ceiling fixture designed for everyday American homes. The shallow frosted glass bowl features applied white enamel floral garlands and ribbon swags, a popular early-1950s decorative detail that adds warmth and vintage charm without excess ornament.

Restored with a new custom powder-coated steel canopy, socket cup, and porcelain socket assembly, this fixture combines authentic vintage glass with reliable modern electrical components. Measurements: The fixture measures 13 1/4 inches wide and 8 1/2 inches tall. The height can be adjusted by setting the ball length on the ceiling side of the chain and trimming the excess nickel beaded chain.

Condition: The fixture features a new porcelain socket, wiring, wire grommet, mounting bracket, nickel thumb nuts, nickel beaded chain, pure white powder-coated canopy finish, and installation hardware.

The original vintage glass bowl remains in good condition and shows its age with minor signs of authenticity, including a pinhole in the silkscreen enamel decoration.

Electrical: Uses a standard medium base bulb (E26) up to 60 watts. Compatible with LED, incandescent, or CFL bulbs. Suitable for dry indoor locations. This fixture is custom assembled and therefore not U.L. listed.
