The restored flush mount ceiling light features a new aged brass fixture with new wiring, a new socket, etc., while preserving its authentic 1930s appeal. The vintage opal glass shade is a classic schoolhouse design able to diffuse light evenly, casting a soft and inviting glow that bathes your room in a warm ambiance. The fixture has been cleaned and detailed, and the hardware is included for a convenient installation.
Measurements: The fixture measures 8 inches wide and 8 1/4 inches tall.
Condition: The fixture features a new porcelain socket, wire, wire sheathing, mounting bracket, antique brass thumb screws, thumb nuts, brass shade holder, a new lacquered finish, and installation hardware. The opal shade is in good vintage condition and shows its antiquity with minor inconsistencies, including flea bites in the opal glass. The fixture shows finish inconsistencies in the brass aging.
Electrical: The fixture uses a standard medium base bulb, a 60-watt bulb, suitable for dry locations. The light fixture is custom and, therefore, is not U.L. Listed.
