Interior designs of 1940s America were filled with a fascination with exotic tropical destinations and fueled with a sense of escapism, especially following World War II.
The tropical-inspired ceiling light fixture features new wiring, porcelain sockets, etc. The fixture has been cleaned and detailed and comes with installation hardware, making for a convenient installation.
Measurements: The fixture measures 10 1/4 inches wide and 8 1/2 inches max height. The height can be adjusted by setting the ball length on the ceiling side of the chain and then snipping off the excess beaded chain.
Condition: The fixture features a new porcelain socket, wires, wire sheathing, mounting bracket, brass thumb nuts, brass beaded chain, a pineapple yellow enameled paint, and installation hardware. The glass is in good condition.
Electrical: The fixture uses a standard medium base bulb. Use a 60-watt bulb. Suitable for dry locations. The fixture is custom and, therefore, is not U.L. Listed.
