Flush Mount Ceiling Light Fixture, Vintage Glass Shade, New Fitter
$ 169.99
Enameled glass shades were a popular lighting option in the 1950s and 60's. They were often used in kitchens, bathrooms, and other utility areas of the home. These shades were commonly made of thick, clear glass coated with a layer of enamel, which usually gave it a glossy, durable, milk-glass-looking finish on the selected bands. This one is of particular interest because of its sight purple tint, indicating the use of manganese dioxide, also known as Glass Makers Soap.
