This vintage shallow shade ceiling light fixture embodies the 1960s' sleek and minimalistic design, prioritizing clean lines and a sense of simplicity. Enameled geometric shapes like circles, ovals, and other more organic-inspired lined shapes were commonly silk-screened in these era shades. The designs made an indelible mark on contemporary lighting design.
The fixture features a custom-built assembly in a polished nickel finish. The light has been cleaned and detailed, including hardware for convenient installation.
Measurements: The fixture measures 11 1/4 inches wide and is 5 1/2 inches tall.
Condition: The fixture features a new 2-light phenolic cluster socket, a new polished nickel finial, bushings, a polished nickel ceiling canopy, a mounting bracket, and thumb nuts. The shade is in good vintage condition. It is showing its antiquity with only minor inconsistencies, including a small chip on the very corner of the glass.
Electrical: The socket is U.L. Listed. The completed fixture is custom-built and, therefore, is not U.L. Listed. The fixture is suitable for dry locations. Use 60-watt bulbs. Bulbs are not included.
