Restored Antique Iron Semi-Flush Ceiling Light Fixture

$ 359.99

Approximately from the 1900s to the 1920s, this antique hand-crafted iron ceiling light fixture offers a superb blend of artistic impact and practicality. The semi-flush mount design of the fixture ensures that the fixture remains close enough to the ceiling to maintain an intimate ambiance while providing ample illumination to light any room with a gentle, inviting glow.

The fixture features a freshly painted iron with new wires and a porcelain socket. The light has been cleaned and detailed. It includes mounting hardware for convenient installation.

Measurements: The fixture measures 12 3/4 inches tall and 7 inches at its widest point.

Condition: The fixture features a new porcelain socket with black glazing, wires, wire sheathing, 1/8 ips threaded rods, zinc hickey, mounting bracket, an etched cut glass shade, brass set screw, installation hardware, and satin black paint with an oiled and waxed finish. The vintage fixture base has minor finish inconsistencies in the paint. The ceiling canopy has been retapped for a set screw as the old tap was stripped and filled with solder. The ceiling canopy continues to show its unique texture to mimic the iron-pocked finish from its construction date. The cut glass shade shows its antiquity with some wear, flea bites, and minor chips on the fitter lip.

Electrical: The fixture uses a standard medium base bulb. Use a 60-watt bulb. Suitable for dry locations.
