Antique Victorian Wall Sconce Electric Light Fixture

WallThis renovated antique Victorian-era electric sconce has been rewired with numerous new parts added. Circa 1905ish, its naturally aged brass finish emphasizes its age and unique character. The fixture features new wiring, sockets, etc., and has been cleaned, yet not overly detailed. The sconce comes with mounting hardware making it convenient to install.

Measurements: The fixture measures 15 1/2 inches tall and 7 5/8 inches at its widest point and protrudes 13 1/2 inches from the wall.

Condition: The fixture features a new turn-key socket gut, cardboard insulator, wires, wire grommets, heavy-duty mounting bracket, 3 1/4 inch cast brass shade holder, porcelain candelabra-based socket, solid brass candelabra cup, a 1/8 inch threaded rod, solid brass wall canopy, set screw, lacquered finish, and installation hardware. The fixture is vintage and is showing its antiquity with minor aging inconsistencies, nicks, scratches, age spots, and other blemishes in the brass. The glass is in good condition. There are two sconces. They are being sold individually so aging may differ slightly between the two fixtures.

Electrical: The sconce will need a wall switch as the fixture has a candelabra socket that would use the wall switch as well as a standard medium base socket with a turn-key switch. Use 60-watt bulbs. The bulb is not included. Suitable for dry locations.
